What had Steven done? Had this friendship all been a trap? A twisted ruse to subject her to his human tortures? The spirit of Rose Quartz lived on within him, and it was every bit as cruel as she’d been told.

Laying on the floor, with her torso bursting with contents, she looked up at her tormentors with agony throbbing from her Gem.

You… did this… to me… you clods…”

Shape shifting had always been her weak point. When the Amethyst had offered to coach her, she reluctantly took up the offer, mastering her first human organ within just two weeks. A stomach. One of Steven’s personal favourites. The moment he’d heard, he all but demanded she put it to use.

Eagerly he brought her powdered rings of dough, a strange cow nectar, and small pieces of oil fried potato that had come from larger pieces of oil fried potato. Even a bag of orange triangles. Steven found that terribly amusing for some reason she didn't quite understand.

Once she had started, it was difficult to stop, each bite or slurp leaving wonderful sensations across her tongue. Soon all there was to consume was gone, but something had been done to it. It wasn't enough, even after Steven had left and called the experiment a success, she couldn’t stop herself, demanding Amethyst bring her more to consume. They were all too happy to oblige, bringing food so quickly there was little time to tell it all apart.

Soon her abdomen had begun to stretch, filling up as purple hands filled her mouth. It was normal, she explained, it happened all the time to humans. Had she not been on the internet before?

Only when her own girth had immobilised her completely had the trap revealed itself. Discomfort had grown with each mouthful, but she had ignored it to make time for more food. Now that there was none left, her eyes were clear. The sight of herself was obscene; a food filled bag with arms and legs.

And then she felt it churn. Bubbling, fermenting inside of her. She could feel the pain of her whole existence pulling at her newly formed insides.

I’m sorry m-my Diamond…” the diminutive Gem whimpered. “I should have known! I should have – UrrrruUUUUUUP! Oh no… it’s starting…”

“Amethyst! This is too much! Way too much!” Steven said upon his return.

“What? Naw, Steven, I see you eat twice this much every week!”

“Yeah, but not in one day!”

Amethyst’s expression slipped. “Are you sure?”

Look at her!

“Haha, oh geez! Sorry, days, weeks, never could tell the difference!”

Kneeling by his bloated, green companion, Steven tilted her head up off the ground.

“Peridot, speak to me!”

The diminutive Gem gurgled painfully. “You c-cloUUUURRRRRuurRRRP! What torture is this? You don’t think I can see what you’ve done? You’re trying to turn me into a planet busting weapon of your own! What are you thinking?! You can’t outmatch the Cluster wit… with – BRAHHHP! Dough rings!

“It’s just a stomach ache!”

I’ll take this whole muddy, cruddy planet down with me! Don’t think I won’t!

“You just need to ride it out until you’ve digested it, that’s all.”

With the grin of someone who wanted to do absolutely anything but grin, Amethyst knelt down next to them. “So um, about that… now might be a good time to do the rest of the digestive system, huh?”

Earth.

On Homeworld, they told you stories, but nothing did it true justice.

Nothing could prepare you.

BRHUUUURRAAAAAHRP! Clods…

The time comes for Peridot to realise the truth. What the Gems wanted from her was not help, nor friendship. They just wanted a weapon.

During a stream :iconsolitaryscribbles: showed showed off an animation of a stuffed Peridot burping. I mused that digestion would be a pretty bizarre experience for an unspecting Gem whose never had a digestive system before, and that I'd ought to put that idea to paper.
So then he uploaded it and I did.  Hammered it out in like a half hour.
I've considered doing an SU story before, but nothing really jumped out at me. This did, though.

Dooooood, I can't believe you actually did it!  Here I thought is was just a hypothetical. Super job for just half an hour too. I would probably have one paragraph on the page. You've delivered good stuff today, my friend. Good stuff indeed.
